Mouse Band - eight figures
Using restored forms from the 1930s, it was possible to reissue one of the most extraordinary articles in the history of the MAROLIN® Manufactory: The Mouse Band!
Probably inspired by the first Walt Disney characters and movies like "Steamboat Willie", these figures were made for the American market only. Each figure is carefully created by hand using the papier-mâché pressing process, hand-cleaned, sanded and then exclusively hand painted. After patinizing, the figures receive a partial gold decoration.The Mouse Band consists of eight different mice: conductor, dancer, cymbal player, double bass mouse, flute player, drummer, tuba player and harmonica player.
As a set, these figures are an extraordinary decoration idea with a great history.
You receive the set safely packed in a gift box with contour cut soft foam inlay and certificate of authenticity.
